It is time to speak up for public education and public services. The BC government has a process of online consultation with citizens concerning the preparation of the 2010 budget. The online consultation ends on October 23, 2009. Please speak up by going to this link and filling out the survey to express your priorities for the British Columbia budget.

Additionally, there are opportunities to make written submissions, audio or video presentations and participate in public hearings. For details, please follow the links below.

The BCTF observes, "Places for the hearings fill very quickly so you should make the request as soon as possible.  You can decide later whether you want to do this as a joint activity with other groups.  You are unlikely to get time on the schedule if you do not put in a request early."
